I started programming when I was 14, and was already learning about electronics and physics around that time as well - but not from school. Almost everything technical I know at this point, is self taught - by volume and importance at least. I have always learned best from the DIY process, which so far has yielded countless projects and tests over the years. Clearly, there is no end in sight for this, nor is there a good way to share them all yet. For now I'll just post some pictures, TBD.
My base of operations, plain and simple, but not really simple. I have local raid on separated storage, with multiple offsite backup systems at 2 other properties. This is where I do all my system setup tests and continue on my never ending journey to escape the cloud. Last I checked there are 87 docker services running. I have fully contained VRFs so I can layer 2 or 3 in to any of my networks, but keep my systems separate.
